For our client, a global leader in its industry, we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer with Python.
Location: Warszawa, Łódź, Trójmiasto
Working mode: Hybrid, 2 days a week in the office
Type of contract: B2B ( 100 - 140 PLN net/hour)
Main responsibilities:
Design, implement and maintain test automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Python.
Develop, optimize and execute automated test suites for web (UI) and API applications.
Collaborate closely with developers, analysts and DevOps engineers to integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins / Git / Bitbucket).
Analyze test results and report defects using JIRA and manage test cases in qTest.
Ensure alignment with QA standards and testing strategy across multiple environments (pre-prod, UAT, prod).
Participate in code reviews, test strategy planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support manual testers by identifying high-value areas for automation and ensuring maintainability of test assets.
Must-have knowledge and experience
3–6 years of experience in test automation ( UI and API focus ).
Proven hands-on experience in Robot Framework and Python programming.
Good understanding of test automation design patterns (Page Object Model, keyword-driven approach).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo) and test management systems (qTest, JIRA).
Practical knowledge of REST API testing and tools (Postman, Swagger, REST libraries).
Understanding of the software delivery lifecycle and Agile (Scrum / SAFe) processes.
Solid communication skills and fluency in English (B2+ level or higher).
Experience in the banking or financial services domain will be a strong advantage.
Nice-to-have knowledge and experience
Knowledge of Selenium Library integration within Robot Framework.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (Azure / AWS).
Basic understanding of test automation metrics and reporting tools (Allure, Grafana, etc.).
ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer certification.
